Alaska Food Coalition // The Alaska Food Coalition is a statewide group of 81 non-profit, faith-based and state agencies working everyday to help feed hungry Alaskans in communities like Fairbanks, Anchorage, Kenai, Soldotna, Nome, Dillingham, Bethel, Juneau, Kodiak, and many more.

Fairbanks Community Food Bank // Founded in 1982, the Fairbanks Community Food Bank collects and redistributes donated food to individuals and agencies. Food donations are received from the local community and about 100 commercial vendors.

Food Bank of Alaska // Food Bank of Alaska believes that no one deserves to be hungry. Since 1979, we have been securing donated food for nonprofit agencies to distribute to hungry Alaskans.

Arizona Hunger Campaign // The Arizona Hunger Campaign began in January, 2010, in the offices of Jerry Colangelo, a local Phoenix sports legend and long-time community leader.  At that time, representatives from local food banks, Lift Up America, Arizona Christian Foundation, Arizona Broadcasters Association and local churches joined together to discuss what they could do together to fight hunger in our Valley and state.  They decided to begin collaborative discussions about how they could pool resources to alleviate the problem of hunger during this devastating economic downturn.

Association of Arizona Food Banks // Established in 1984, the Association of Arizona Food Banks (AAFB) is a private, non-profit organization serving five regional food bank members and a network of nearly 1,700 food pantries and agencies.

California Hunger Action Coalition // CHAC is a broad-based membership organization of volunteers united in our belief that access to adequate, nutritious and safe food is a fundamental human right.

California Project Lean // Our mission is to increase opportunities for healthy eating and physical activity in communities across California to reduce the prevalence of obesity and chronic diseases such as heart disease, cancer, stroke, osteoporosis, and diabetes.

Nourish California // Nourish California is a bold, new initiative designed to increase food literacy and build healthy communities. The nonprofit initiative provides free educational resources for use in California’s K-12 schools.

Strategic Alliance for Healthy Food and Activity Environments // As a network of advocates informed by community wisdom and experience, the Strategic Alliance shifts the public debate on eating and physical activity away from a primary focus on personal responsibility to shine a light on the role that corporate and government practices have on the food and activity environments where people live, work, play and learn.

Central California

CAPK Food Bank // Our mission is to help alleviate hunger in Kern County through the distribution of emergency food provided by public, private and government donations, to households who are in need of emergency food assistance.

Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County // Founded in 1989 the Food Bank Coalition distributed 400,000 pounds of food annually through 20 non-profit agency partners.

Northern California

18 Reasons (San Francisco) // Through an innovative community center and thought provoking, fun programming, we inspire action and foster collaboration toward creating a just and sustainable food system.

Clinic Ole // Community Health Clinic Ole (Clinic Ole) was founded in 1972 to provide health care to the resident and migrant agricultural workers in Napa County.

New Taste Marketplace (San Francisco) // New Taste Marketplace is a community market and a fundraiser for The Food Pantry and St. Gregory of Nyssa Episcopal Church.

Center for Ecoliteracy // The Center for Ecoliteracy is a public foundation that supports a grant making program for educational organizations and school communities in the Bay Area. It's grant programs have supported and helped shape Farm to School programs in Berkeley, Sonoma, Yolo, Mendocino.

La Cocina // The mission of La Cocina is to cultivate low-income food entrepreneurs as they formalize and grow their businesses by providing affordable commercial kitchen space, industry-specific technical assistance and access to market  and capital opportunities.

Project Open Hand // Since 1985, Project Open Hand has been providing “meals with love” to people living with serious illnesses and to seniors in San Francisco and Alameda County and has served as a model for over 100 organizations all over the world.

St. Anthony's Dining Room // The Dining Room has served poor and homeless Tenderloin residents since 1950; through six decades of growing demand we have never turned a Dining Room guest away for lack of food.

Three Stone Hearth (Berkeley) // Three Stone Hearth is pioneering a new business model: a community-supported, worker-owned cooperative, and a teaching kitchen all in one. Our work is grounded in shared values of sustainability, community, and health.

Southern California

Enrich LA // EnrichLA is an environmental non-profit focused on adding edible school gardens to public schools.

Food Forward // Food Forward is a volunteer powered grassroots group of Angelenos who care about reconnecting to its food system and making change around urban hunger.

LA Green Grounds // LA Green Grounds is an all-volunteer group based in South Los Angeles. It build gardens, with a focus on serving low-income residents and others with scarce access to fresh, affordable food. It also advocates for gardens, open space, and general wellness in the region.

Los Angeles Regional Food Bank // The mission of the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is to mobilize resources to fight hunger in our community.

Project Angel Food // Project Angel Food's mission is to nourish the body and spirit of men, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. Volunteers and staff cook and deliver free and nutritious meals prepared with love throughout Los Angeles, acting out of a sense of urgency because hunger and illness do not wait. We deliver more than 13,000 meals every week to people in need.

San Diego Hunger Coalition // The San Diego Hunger Coalition is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving access to and participation in federal food programs. Our vision is of a day when no San Diegan goes hungry; therefore, it is our mission to fulfill this most fundamental need.

s'Cool Food Initiative (Santa Barbara) // The mission of the s’Cool Food Initiative is to empower school districts in Santa Barbara County to implement and sustain nourishing cook-from-scratch food programs

Someone Cares Soup Kitchen // Our mission is simple: To feed a daily nutritional meal to the homeless, the unemployed, the working poor, the mentally challenged, the physically challenged, the senior citizens and most important of all – the children.

Oregon Organic Coalition // The Oregon Organic Coalition (OOC) is an organization founded to advance the development and growth of the organic industry and community in Oregon.

Oregon Tilth // Oregon Tilth is a nonprofit research and education membership organization dedicated to biologically sound and socially equitable agriculture. Oregon Tilth offers educational events throughout the state of Oregon, and provides organic certification services to organic growers, processors, and handlers internationally.
